New York. New Belfast.
Cornerstone Director, Daniel Jackson recently travelled with Belfast Chamber of Commerce and other business leaders to meet with their New York counterparts to enhance and increase business links between the 2 cities. The aim was to provide a forum for companies and individuals to network, explore business opportunities, exchange views and remain informed of developments in New York and North America.
The trade mission was provided in partnership with the Tenth Annual New York-New Belfast conference. The conference highlighted the bridges of progress and prosperity being built between the citizens of the two great cities of New York and Belfast, looking optimistically to the future while celebrating our shared past.
The trade delegation itinerary included access to high profile business groups and city leaders, including the Irish Business Organisation, the Chairman of the Finance Committee of New York City, CEO of Moet Hennessy and a meeting with the New York City Comptroller, who controls one of the biggest investment funds in the world.
Daniel had the opportunity to meet with world-leading Architect and urbanist, Vishaan Chakrabarti, at his inspiring Domino Sugar Factory regeneration development where they discussed the future needs of Belfast as a growing, vibrant city.
Now back in Belfast, Cornerstone is enthusiastically collaborating with key business leaders in bringing all that was learnt and discussed in New York to Belfast.
